Internship
Harvest Christian Camp typically offers a 7-week summer intern program which includes a wide range of involvement ministering to youth and children. Our camp has a strong spiritual emphasis. We encourage campers in their personal walk with God through powerful praise & worship, exciting Bible classes, and amazing night services. Their days are filled with fun activities such as: go karts, paintball, creative workshops, big & wild games, swimming, archery, and more. Interns will have the opportunity to help in several areas according to their talents, abilities, and willingness to serve.
Schedule
Interns participate Monday –Saturday morning each camp week. They have week-ends off but are expected to attend church service at the House of Prayer (unless their home church is nearby) on Sundays at 10 a.m. They will also have a Bible Study on Sunday nights with the Intern "Parents" who also live on the camp grounds. Training will begin June 2nd. Last day of Internship is July 23rd for the 2023 season.

Ministry Opportunities
Children and Teen Bunk Leaders
Bunk Leaders are responsible for 5 to 9 campers each camp. They eat, sleep, play, have devotions, go to services and pray with them every day. Bunk Leaders have a demanding schedule but find it very rewarding. This position requires someone who loves children or teens, is spiritually and emotionally stable, and a good Christian role model. Bunk Leaders have a HUGH impact on the lives of the campers. This position offers a great ministry experience.
Bible Teachers and night service speakers
We need teachers who love God’s Word and like to creatively teach children and teens. Bible classes take place in the morning. Subjects and curriculum are provided. When possible we hope to offer night services to those that feel called to preach.
Creative Workshop Leaders
Each camper picks a workshop class during camp. They attend the same workshop class for three days with each class lasting 45 minutes. The talent of our volunteers determines the type of workshop classes we can offer. Classes we have offered in the past include: Music, Drama, Dance, Puppets, Arts & Crafts, Woodworking, Sign Language and Photography.
Kitchen Staff
This is a very important part of HCC. We need assistant cooks and many helpers for each camp. The food at HCC has a reputation of being really good! Assistant cooks are needed in the kitchen. Menus will be planned, food ordered, and ready to be prepared. Come share your talent and be a blessing.
Maintenance and Go Karts
Are you interested in small machines or would you enjoy running the Go Kart track? Go Karts need maintenance and we need helpers! We also need help in many areas of maintenance, as well as mowing.
Office & Janitorial
Assistance in these areas are always a great need at camp.
